The Meals on Wheels program is designed to ensure that any York County resident in need of this service, even on a short-term basis, will receive one hot meal each weekday. No one is refused service because of an inability to pay. Recipients are asked to contribute the cost of the meal or whatever they can financially afford. Meals on Wheels helps seniors to: remain independent members of society, maintain their health, manage their own affairs, and live their lives with dignity.
